Dating back to 1859, the Army Cadet Force (ACF) is a voluntary youth organisation which seeks to provide all-round development for young adults aged 12-18.
At units across the UK and on regular weekend camps, the ACF gives young people a structured and safe environment where they can undertake challenging activities led by qualified instructors.
Progressive military-based activities taught on a regular basis include:
- Map and compass
